Four Way Control


Company field is set to abbreviate to a 30 character field. All other fields are set to expand abbreviations. 

Field Length
Expands or compresses data to the field widths you specify. Never truncates.
 
Casing
Converts to Upper/Lower or ALL UPPER. Properly cases all US/Canadian postal abbreviations and casing exceptions in names.

Abbreviation
Expands or creates. Select "Casual" or "Aggressive". 

Punctuation
Adds or strips proper punctuation in names & addresses.

Strip Punctuation
Removes all periods and commas.
Abbreviate Words Casually
California -> Calif, Assistant -> Assist, Headquarters -> Hdqrts
Abbreviate Words Aggressively
California -> CA, Assistant -> Asst, Headquarters -> HQ
Strip Insignificant Words
Strip words like “of”, “the”, and “Company”. You control the list.
Truncate at Even Words Ending
We hate all truncations, but even-word endings are usually OK.
Strip Embedded Vowels
Institute -> Insttte, Automotive -> Atmtve. Don’t try this at home kids!
