Cautionary Note
Regarding Shipping Charges
Boxes are light in weight but they do take up
space when shipping. Shipping companies including UPS use what is
called "Dimensional Weight" to charge for shipping. Instead of
charging for the actual weight of the item they use the following
formula to arrive at the weight they will charge. In short,
you divide the total cubic inches by 166 to arrive at the "Dimensional
Weight". The shipping cost using this formula can easily exceed
the cost of the product you are purchasing, thus when product is
rated as "dimensional" it is usually best to have the item trucked to
your location. When you make a mailing tube purchase you will be
provided both a dimensional cost from UPS as well as a trucking quote
from which to choose should you decide to purchase.

If the cubic size in inches is less than
5,184, the actual weight of the package will apply. |
